MERVYN'S COMUNITTY

The 53-foot mobile showroom was built to handle as many people as possible at one time but still allowing plenty of room for each stylist to work individually with each participant. The wood covered floor of the trailer also boasts 4 dressing rooms, skylights, wood shelves, clothes racks and a lighted consultation table. The table allows the stylists to sit down with each participant and cater to their needs. Wide aisles allow people inside to move about with ease thus creating a comfortable “shopping” environment. Storage underneath the showroom and in closet space provides adequate room to hold inventory. In 1998, Mervyn’s California, together with its parent company, Dayton Hudson Corporation, will donate more than $1 million a week to communities where the company does business. Also, through its Community Relations grant-giving program, Mervyn’s California focuses on women, children and families, education and family arts. These two facts draw in nationwide media coverage leaving millions of impressions each leg of the tour. Because of Mervyn’s support of the welfare to work stage in life, women across the country are able to benefit from the generosity.

LOWE'S

As one of the largest displays, The Lowe’s Kobalt Koach has been traveling to several events (both indoor and out) to promote the Lowe’s branded hand tools. Currently the truck is being refurbished to promote Lowe’s wide variety of home appliances and plans to be back on the road during summer ’02.

SIRIUS SATELLITE RADIO

Along with their NASCAR sponsorship of Casey Atwood/Evernham Motorsports, SIRIUS needed a mobile display to help bring their product to market. NTI constructed two rigs. One main display vehicle and one car carrier that was able to transport accompanying vehicles such as a BMW SUV, Mercedes coupe, Dodge Ram Truck and the #7 SIRIUS Winston Cup race car.

ROYAL CARIBBEAN

RCCL wanted to bring the excitement and activities of their luxury liners straight to their target audience. The truck stopped at various events such as the ’01 Orange Bowl and the convention hall at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. The trailer caused somewhat of a “feeding frenzy” of people wanting to either sign up for more information or book a vacation right on the spot.

POWERADE

The POWERade truck just finished completion and the first scheduled event was South Padre Island, TX for Spring Break ‘02. The truck was a huge success with the spring breakers. The truck was outfitted with a drop down stage; a roof mounted DJ booth and scaffolding, interactive video games as well as a human gyroscope!

PIONEER

Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc., for a third year, rolls out its 18-wheeler mobile show room tour. The theme for 2002 will be “This Is How We Roll” and will start in Daytona Beach at the Spring Break Tuner Bash at the Plaza Hotel on Ocean Boulevard, March 22-24. Pioneer’s 18-wheeler mobile show room will sport new graphics and filled with the company’s newest audio and video products. Inside the 18-wheeler, spring breakers can experience the full line of 2002 car electronic products including; Audio/Video, DVD players with 5.1 channel DTS/Dolby Digital surround sound, in-car navigation systems, stereo head units featuring bright, multi-colored Organic Electro-luminescence displays, MP3, WMA playback and hard drive storage, subwoofers and amplifiers. As visitors walk through the mobile showroom, there are multiple interactive stations that demonstrate car and home electronics. Visitors will see source units, speakers and subwoofers located on each side of the trailer. Consumers walk directly on top of amplifiers, inlaid in the floor under protective plexi-glass, allowing them not only to hear the music but to feel it as well. Pioneer staff will be available at each venue to answer questions. “Visitors will be fully entertained with the latest car audio gear by Pioneer, including a complete 5.1 channel Dolby Digital and DTS surround sound in-car theatre system. Consumers can interact and listen to each product on display,” said Michael Townsen, vice president of marketing for mobile entertainment at Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. “The 18-wheeler mobile showroom is a great platform to really show off Pioneer’s latest and most innovative products.”

NHRA

This display consists of a Dually and a 48′ Gooseneck Trailer, 48 feet of flooring and a 48′ pop-up tent with custom NHRA graphics. It exhibits 5 half- scale dragsters powered by five-horsepower Briggs & Stratton engines that can reach speeds up to 70 mph. One of the dragsters is used for photo opportunities. This allows the consumer to take a souvenir photo of their child inside one of the Junior Dragsters. It also allows them to sit in the dragster to get an actual feel of being behind the wheel. The other 4 dragsters were used on race days for an exhibition round of racing on an eighth-mile distance. The display features a large television with video capabilities including VCR and a fully automated satellite dish to watch the NHRA action. Consumers can also hop behind the wheel of a computer simulated interactive NHRA Drag Racing game to test their reaction skills.

MERVYN'S MISSION

Working with the California Education board as well as the Fresno Metropolitan museum, NTI constructed a 53’ rolling museum dedicated to the history of the California Missions. The truck can hold one class of 4th graders at a time and also has an onboard heating/air and humidity modulator. Due to the fragile contents of the trailer on loan from the Fresno Metropolitan Museum, proper humidity levels need to be maintained at all times.

KORBEL CHAMPAGNE

NTI designed a 30′ traveling, state-of-the-art party. Built from the ground up. The Korbel Millennium Practice Party truck has a 9 screen TV wall for video presentations, a full audio/video system with DVD, CD, VCR, and dual microphones that set the stage for a perfect practice party. All of the above elements combine to create a one-of-a-kind Practice Party experience leaving to date over 152,750,000 impressions nation wide. With music pumping, a DVD playing on the TV wall, the World’s Largest Champagne bottle, a Millennium-sized toast book and two Korbel Champagne bottle kiosks, each event has multiple activities to participate in that lead to the countdown. The “Countdown to Noon” was usually covered by a local radio personality whom hosts the mock countdown to midnight.

DEWALT

NTI handles the entire promotional vehicle and show vehicle line up for DeWALT racing and the #17 Matt Kenseth Winston Cup race car. DeWALT trailers are displayed in retail parking lots all the way up to the Daytona 500. These pictures show the “Rolling Thunder”, “Black Thunder” and “Show Car” displays.

ANHEUSER BUSCH

A state-of-the-art mobile theater, interactive video and photo displays are just a few of the elements that combine to tell the story of the “See the World We Share” display. The theater features two short films; first, an intriguing story called “The Color of Life” that takes a look at our world and its inhabitants, followed by an exciting journey that spans from a wild Arctic adventure to a high speed roller coaster ride.

SUPER TARGET

The display consisted of nine Playstation kiosks positioned in a rectangular setting. Each kiosk consisted of a stand with a Playstation console, two dual shock controllers and a video monitor. The setting was framed with a custom-built box truss design. The trusses interlocked providing the support for backdrops. The backdrops were designed and manufactured with a large Playstation logo. This creates a false wall, drawing consumers into the display to see what everyone is doing. With a sound system placed in the middle of the display the marketing assistants stood on a platform overlooking the entire display to help draw in consumers as well.

PEPSI

“Take the Pepsi Challenge.” NTI constructed the challenge kiosks, transported the props to the different event locations and also staffed the event at each stop. Pepsi required a small yet effective display that could also pack up and move on to the next location…sometimes making multiple stops in one day.

PRICE PFISTER

Price Pfister, a leader in the plumbing fixture industry for the last 90 years, tapped National Tour Inc to build several small, maneuverable mobile displays that could allow their reps to showcase the new line up of Price Pfister merchandise. Retail home improvement stores as well as trade shows and conventions were planned for the touring tag trailers.  This smaller set up proved to be a winning combination for Price Pfister.

NIKE

NTI created an innovative display that strengthens Nike’s presence at the grassroots/community level. The M.E.G. took direction from Category and Regional Sports Marketing Managers to define target events and objectives then integrated plans across the Nike Marketing matrix. Key events that were visited were March Madness Games, League Opening Games, All-Star Weekends and other events that touched the people on the grassroots level.

MONSTER.COM

NTI constructed 3 “Monster vehicles” that pulled box or “tag” trailers that “exploded” into a Monster.com promotional station. The trucks were outfitted with satellite hook up for internet connections as well as plasma TV’s that looped a Monster.com commercial. Sporting events as well as colleges were some of the stops for the Monster.com vehiclesfeedback and create a display that not only turned heads but created an atmosphere that matched their desktops philosophy…”A winning combination of speed and performance.”

KRAFT

ESPN

COMPAQ

Compaq requested a jaw dropping display to promote their new line of desktops as well as associate their brand with their racing team. Compaq was only going to erect this display a few times and concluded that a big rig was not the most cost effective route. NTI was able to take this feedback and create a display that not only turned heads but created an atmosphere that matched their desktops philosophy…”A winning combination of speed and performance.”

BMW MOTORCYCLES

BMW Motorcycles needed a mobile retail environment in order to bring the various clothing and accessory items right to the hands of their customers. NTI designed a dual slide out retail environment to fit their needs. The trailer is fully equipped with the latest BMW clothing and gadgets. The trailer also has a state of the art DVD, CD, plasma displays to further build the image of BMW Motorcycles.
